Mathias Kwaw was sacked after the 2016 elections.
Speaking to the media, Mathias Kwaw said his sacked from the town was political motivated.
He explained that he made a report to a road contractor who is doing their township roads about missing gravels and stone in the town.
- Mathias Kwaw also said his report to contractor was exposé to the kingship in the town so he was attacked by insults and according to him he said he couldn't withstand with the insults so he also replied those attackers.
He said after assaults he was called by the chief and his elders to come and render and an unqualified apology plus money, drinks and sheep and they also told him that if he fails to fulfill their order then he should leave the town.
- According to Mathias Kwaw he said the chief has openly being a supporter of the New Patriotic Party so since he Mathias Kwaw activeness for the NDC was a threat to the NPP, the chief in many ways tried to frustrated him for not campaigning for the NDC.

Mathias Kwaw added that the chief ordered him to established a 'local FM' in the town to use it to do his campaign, meanwhile, Mathias Kwaw said the NPP established one in the town to do their campaign.
"As we speak, I do not have a place to sleep and Am homeless"
"I have lost hometown because of the NDC that I supported, I need serious help", Mathias Kwaw lamented deeply.
The media have found out from the town that the NDC Branch Secretary is indeed not in the town and he is homeless for now in the constituency.
