Koku-Anyidoho Proud of Mills But Totally Ashamed of John Mahama.

Koku-Anyidoho
A leading member and Deputy General Secretary of NDC, Koku-Anyidoho has respectfully saluted Prof. Mills even in his grave. He confessed his unflinching love for Prof. Mills and never regretted Working with Prof. Mills.

But When Nana Aba asked him about his affection for John Mahama, Koku emphatically pointed out that he was just Working for Mahama in the 2016 general election.

Now, we have to note that 'Working with Someone' and 'Working for someone are not the same.

According to Koku, Mills was a competent, credible and incorruptible Personality,  a total opposite of Mahama's Attributes.

Mahama is a weak leader and too incompetent to merit my love, Koku angrily answered Nana Aba. I don't and can never love Mahama,  Koku said.

Nana Aba, please wait!!!!!, let me tell you something, how do you expect me to love Mahama when he couldn't even construct a more decent and quality tomb & gravesite for the remains of Prof. Mills. It took President Akufo-Addo's Government to renovate the gravitesite of Prof. Mills. I hate Mahama with passion and very ashamed to give my love and loyalty to him.

Where was John Dumelo, Mzebel &  Aisha of Doves for Mahama when some of us sacrifice our lives to bring NDC into power in 2008.

NDC is working assiduously to prepare a much better and competent Presidential Candidate than Mahama for the 2020 general election, Koku emphasised.

FOREIGN EMPLOYERS MUST STOP ABUSING GHANAIAN EMPLOYEES- MODERN WOMEN OF WISDOM ORGANIZATION.

Modern Women of Wisdom Organization
We the members of Modern Women of Wisdom Organization an all female advocacy group are highly disgruntled at the manner in which a female worker at Marwako  fast foods was physically assaulted by her Lebanese branch supervisor.

The eyes of Miss Evelyn Boakye were soaked in hot blended pepper for reasons best known to her Lebanese supervisor called Jihad Chaaban.

The rise of abuse of Ghanaian workers by their foreign employers is becoming frightening if not deafening.

Some of these foreigners abuse their workers particularly women by raping them or constantly hitting them with sharp objects.

These foreigners enjoy taking their anger on their workers by  isolating them from the outside world. Both the physical and mental efforts of these workers are steered through unconditional submission by their foreign bosses instead of enjoying mutual benefits.

Aside being given miniscule amounts as salaries, these workers are compelled to work their lungs out like ancient slaves by their foreign masters.

They mostly deprive their workers access to education and recreation to ensure that their workers remain uneducated, helpless and dependent. These workers are not allowed to choose their lifestyles.

They live and die for them.

These Foreign employees instill a sense of inferiority complex in their workers so that their employees "know their place" and take interest in their masters' enterprise.

Punishment meted out to indigenes by these foreign employers in response to disobedience or perceived infractions is an eyesore.

Sometimes, pregnancy is not even a barrier to their punishments. They have special methods devised to administer punishment to pregnant women.

Today, we say, "Enough is Enough".

This maltreatment by foreigners must stop now, Ghana is an Independent Country.

We find the "fast track" damage control press release issued by the CEO of Mawarko fast foods laughable and disgraceful.

If the eyes of the  daughter or the wife of the CEO were soaked in blended pepper we don't think he would have gotten the courage to issue that press release.

We are talking about one of the complex parts of the human body called eyes. The eye is the camera part of the body.

We don't believe the CEO and his supervisors understand visual impairments.

We therefore call on the Ghana Police service, the Gender Ministry and civil society groups to adhere to our clarion call by seeking justice for Miss Evelyn Boakye.

Together, we must challenge this and the stereotypes that undermine worker's voices and portray that violence against workers is unnaceptable and will not be tolerated by anyone.

Tamale Teaching Hospital never stocked expired drugs - Doctors

Authorities at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) have rebuffed claims by doctors at the facility that they are being provided with expired anesthesia drugs.

Some doctors at the hospital have threatened to withdraw anesthesia services after patience suffered multiple complications following what they claimed as the international provision of expired anesthesia drugs.

In a letter issued on February 13, 2017 by chief anesthetist, the Doctors said they were compelled to take the decision due to management insistence that they used the expired anesthesia drug being supplied, “the letter read in parts”.

Speaking to the media, the facility’s public relationship officer, Ahmed Fareed described the claim as preposterous and unfounded.

Authorities at the facility, he said, visited the medical stores following the claims but disappointedly, “ no expired drugs were seen.”

“There is no point in time, that the hospital supplied anesthetic drug with any expired date. There was no memo to the medical Director by anesthetics withdrawing services for which they alleged that drugs provided them were expired drugs,” he said.

In the wake of the circulation of this misleading story, the FDA lead by Martin Kusi, Acting Regional Head of FDA, visited the hospital on last Friday, only to discover that, the claims of expired drugs were false.

Interestingly, information gathered from sources within the hospital have revealed that, some of these doctors who have launched this smear-attack on the Pharmaceutical Department have their own Clinics and pharmacies where they do refer patients who come to the hospital to.

According to the information, these doctors have devise ways of smuggling drugs, which expired, from their private clinics and pharmacies into the hospital stores, an incident which the Pharmaceutical department have fought against over some period.

The more dangerous aspect of the discovery was that, some of the drugs that the anesthetists returned for inspection were not captured in the records of the stores and have not been part of the stock of the hospital for years.

Checks have revealed that drugs such as Etomidate has since the history of the hospital, never been ordered for use by the hospital, whilst some other drugs claimed to have expired at the hospital, are strange products to the hospital in terms of their brand and badges.

This has generated a lot of agitation and counter agitations as some youth groups are now calling for the head of the anesthetics department, for deliberating misinforming the public.

With the emerging developments, the anesthetics and doctors have been asked to prove to the whole nation where these drugs were coming from.

Section of the general public has developed interest in the current happenings and holds a view that, the hospital is bedeviled with factions.

Some staff who spoke on anonymity asserted that, the allegations peddled was a calculated attempt to destroy the hard won reputation of the Director of Pharmacy, who has been serving the hospital for the parts 16 years with so much credibility.

He is noted for competency and due diligence in the discharge of his duties and could not have condone such irresponsible act.

They indicated that, the unfortunate action by the doctors and anesthetics at the hospital is unprofessional, and for that matter there is every reason for them to be properly advised against such mischief.

According to hospital staff, the ongoing development could cause serious threat to the lives of patients and for that matter, called for action against doctors who would be found culpable in the attempt to put the lives of patients in danger whilst pursuing their own parochial interests. This has further strengthened the call for the removal of the Chief Executive officer (CEO).
