The Zongo chief and residents of Ablekuma Joma in the Greater Accra region Sariki Musah Nsoh has called on the government to close down a quarry site at the area.
Sariki Musah Nsoh explained that, the quarry site is in the middle of the community which is causing fear and panic when ever the stones are blursted.
Our lives are in danger since all our buildings has developed severe cracks due to the activities which is been carried out in the area, he said.
Sariki narrated that, even school children are not able learn because of this activities and one child has died as a result of stone flying from the quarry site to hit him.
