He stated that technological advancement is an enemy tool to marriage in the sense that mobile phones (smart phones) and the computer has totally divided the attention of couples in marriage. At the time couples needs to be planning about their marriage, performing marriage roles and others, one might be so busy accessing the social media or the internet which doesn't assist the stability of marriage.
Mr. Yeboah said so many marriage couples are always busy to get something doing in life
and also to travel abroad so the much time they found for their wives and husbands are not there which also contribute to the instability of marriage.
According to him, the bad times we are finding ourselves in now as the Bible stated also fights against marriage as the inherit human weaknesses also counts.
He said, some marriage couples imitate and operate what they watch in some movies and hear on radios and operate them which contribute
to divorce.
"Knowledge that marriage couples do not ascertain before and during marriage life also contribute to the instability of the marriage. Couples needs to be studying the bible or the Quran, doing research on their own in order not to let the society dictate for them how to go about their marriage for them to have an enjoyable marriage as the creator made it" he stated.
The marriage counsellor, Mr. Dei Yeboah reviewed these during his marriage book lunch titled 'Get the Fundamental Rights in Marriage' at the Koforidua Oyoko Assemblies of God in the Eastern Region.
